Day 3 With Judah
A few updates from today:
1). Mr. Paul came by to meet Judah and hang out with Isaac...
2). Isaac took turns with Nana pushing Judah in his cart around the halls of the maternity ward...

3). And the little lion cub slept on...

It's been really encouraging to see how Isaac has interacted with Judah so far; from the first time he saw him, all he's wanted to do is "Hold baby" and "Kiss baby". There will be some adjustments made on his part when his little brother comes home tomorrow, but we are glad to see that right now he is all about "Baby Judah".

Hey! Congratulations!!!! I am so excited you finally got that boy out! And he doesn't seem any the worse for wear from being all squished up inside little you. :)
So, I'm late on the shower thing - is there anything you are finding yourself needing?
Email me and let me know. I'm getting something, so it might as well be something you want.
And I need your address again.
Of course.
And if I don't hear from you I will become the "Baby Gift" stalker.
I'm serious.
SO sweet about isaac loving on his little baby brother bear. but i don't know about the casual attitudes of those Austin hospitals...here in Dallas, if anyone but a mom or nurse attempted to "push a baby in his cart around the maternity ward" the hospital police would be on you in a flash!!
Those pushcart photos are great.
We're so excited for you guys! How was the first night at home?
Very nice--I wonder how many of your readers have caught the lion reference?
Congratulations on Brunone Baby 1.2!
How things have changed, and for the better! When Jay was born, the closest Mark (age 3) got to the action was standing outside the hospital so I could wave to him from my 3rd-floor window. And I only got to spend time with Jay every 4 hours when I nursed him. Seems like the dark ages.
Man, those hospital hardwood floors bring back memories. We'll be there next month!! I'm jealous of Paul's pic...
